Wellington, the coolest little capital in the world

With a population of just over 300,000 inhabitants, Wellington is the seat of Government and the true heart of two new religions, Café Culture and Craft Beer. It also houses the amazing Museum of New Zealand aka Te Papa Tongarewa, with its incredible array of interactive exhibits and event spaces.

Wellington is also considered one of the film industry’s creative hubs. (Wellingtonians consider Wellington THE Hub of film creativity)

With Weta Studios, the brainchild of Oscar award-winning director, Sir Peter Jackson, firmly entrenched as part of the Capital’s DNA, it will soon be joined by a new entity owned in junction with James Cameron, the producer of  the Oscar Award winning films, AVATAR and TITANIC. Cameron is also a resident and organic farmer in the nearby Wairarapa Valley.

Wellington hosts some of New Zealand’s best known festivals, including WOW – World of Wearable Art.

Wellington has some cool venues, hotels, restaurants, activities and people.  It’s easy access from the east coast of Australia and Singapore, make it a great choice for conferences and business events.
